Mt. Moriah Christian Camp is a Youth Summer Camp for ages 5 to 18

Mt. Moriah began in 1981 with a mission to spread the Word of Jesus Christ to children in a fun and safe outdoor environment. Mt. Moriah is a week long, over night camp that has only gotten better through years of experience. Majority of Camp Staff are former campers, who love not only Jesus but the Camp itself.

How Long does Camp Last?

Each camp last 6 days. Drop off is Sunday at 1:30 pm until Pick up on Friday at 12 pm.

What will my child need?

Think of it like going on a camping vacation. This is what we suggest.

6 sets of clothes: shirts, pants/shorts (please consider that weather may go either way. Hot or cold),under garments, jacket, shoes (we suggest flip flops/sandals and a pair of tennis shoes),socks (if needed), pajamas, bathing suit (we suggest 2) (no bikinis allowed. If that’s all you have, please bring a shirt to cover).We suggest 6 pairs of clothes total, just in case.

Personal Care-Hair brush, hair bow/ties or scrunchies (if needed), tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, sun screen.

Extra: pillow, twin sheet, sleeping bag/sheets and comforter (whatever is preferred), extra blanket, stuffed animal (if they prefer to sleep with one. They are fine to bring), towels/wash clothes, bible (not required), $20 for concessions ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES!! We ask that you keep them at home!

How Much does it Cost?

Nothing! Mt. Moriah has been able to Host this camp for FREE year after year. You may notice that we ask for $20.00 in the list of what to bring. This is for Concessions for your child and a camp t-shirt.

What type of Facilities does camp have?

Mt. Moriah has 3 camper cabins, 1 staff cabin, a dining hall (with office, concession stand and kitchen) , tabernacle, Bath house, and Activity building.

What do you do at camp?

We do a variety of safe and fun activities depending the different camp ages. (Jr.’s vs. Sr’s.) all while learning about the Word of Jesus Christ. We do use the King James Version of the Bible to teach lessons and devotions and have a Nightly Service at 7 pm. Three meals are served daily along with concessions. Thursday’s at the different camps (weather depending) usually involves a Hay Ride and Bonfire.

Second, is coming to camp! We will have a staff member at the office ready to sign your child in. Even if you have pre registered you will still need to come to the office.
